ABIKO is a housing near by Tokyo looked for the best ways to build while sorting out priorities on the general budget 30,000,000 yen for land and a building. On the land where is looked for over a year, we designed traditional two-story wooden structure with pillars in 1.8meter pitch on outer periphery and beam of laminated lumber overlay in t-shape inside. In stairwell part we selected a handrail with acrylic, recycled materials for wall, and sheathing plywood for floor. This unbalance of cost for each material from the eyes of others, it became a design fits compactly for this client.
